Raising Money for Mind Charity

Whilst pottering around the HBF cutting garden during lockdown, I noticed a lot of the flowers were starting to burst into flower early, not surprising with all this unusually warm weather we have had recently. With no wedding flower schemes on the horizon, I made the decision to share my flowers with the local community hoping to put a smile on some faces. I created small flower posies which I left at the farm entrance for passers by to help themselves to.

In return of the posies I set up a Just Giving page to raise money for a charity who once helped me - Mind.

There may be people experiencing anxiety and depression for the first time due to this terrible pandemic. I can sympathise from first hand experience and know they will be feeling very alone. If I can help in a tiny way, it would make me happy.

I am delighted to announce that so far I have raised £172 for Mind. Thank you to everybody who has kindly donated to this charity, it really means so much to me. I hope you enjoyed your flowers.

This post feels really genuine in showing how personal experiences can turn into something positive, especially when it comes to supporting mental health causes like Mind. It’s inspiring to see how creative work like floristry can be used not just for business, but also to give back and raise awareness. Fundraising efforts, even small ones, can make a real difference in helping charities provide support and resources for people who might otherwise feel alone . It also highlights how community support plays a big role in these initiatives. I came across rapid assignment help while reading similar topics, and it can also be explored via assignment services for related academic insights.
