Pale pinks at Penny Hill Park Hotel and Spa

July 26, 2015

Its been way too long since my last blog, I think the height of the wedding season and the allotment has got the better of me … It has been an amazingly exciting summer for HBF so far and we are only half way through it!

The team and I recently created a very beautiful wedding scheme at the exclusive Penny Hill Park Hotel and Spa in Bagshot, Surrey.

It was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to work at this luxury country house hotel and we were lucky enough to be asked to help design and create a natural English country garden flower scheme for a lovely couple called Kate and Mark.

At the first design meeting, it was clear that Kate and Mark had a strong vision of how they liked their flower scheme to look on their wedding day and I always get so excited when clients have ideas like this, as it makes their scheme so personal.

Kate and Mark were inspired by herbs and complimenting pale pink and cream cuttings of natural English country style flowers, such as scented English Roses, Hydrangea, Delphiniums and Dahlias.

Their wedding stationary was designed by ‘Brand New Weddings’ and the final design was strongly depicted on the day, by the fresh flower designs on the guest tables.

Kate and Mark had their heart set on an out door ceremony under the large white pavilion in the grounds of Penny Hill Park. On the day of their wedding, the sun shone brightly and I was overjoyed to be a part of the large team of wedding suppliers to all have a hand in creating the wedding of their dreams.
