May has been an extremely exciting flower filled month for Hannah Berry Flowers. We saw the transition of the fresh spring flower schemes slowly creep into scented and soft summer flower schemes.
Today we drew this busy month to an end and celebrated the beginning of summer with a gorgeous rustic and wild wedding scheme at one of Bijou’s wedding venues - Cain Manor.
We are so lucky to be located just a few miles from this cosy Elizabethan Manor House. With its low oak beams and and fantastic views across the rolling Surrey hills, this venue lends itself well to rustic and relaxed styled flowers.
Todays flower scheme was a bright and delicate English country garden style, full of rustic and dainty flowers attracting bees and local wildlife.
The highly scented Sweet Peas and dried Lavender filled the ceremony room with a sweet memorable smell of summer, where as the Digitalis, Nigella and Dicentra provided a cottage garden feel to the floral displays, as well as texture and natural movement.
The flowers were accompanied by silver glassware and tall silver lanterns, that filled the room with a warm sophisticated romantic glow.
With spring sadly behind us, we can’t wait to start working on our summer weddings!
