It was a fresh and natural spring inspired wedding scheme at The Barn at Bury Court this weekend.
The colour platte, simple, yet elegant was created from neutral tones of blush pink, cream and soft green, with a hint of sky blue lifting the design and adding warmth.
Focusing on texture within the bridal flowers, depicted details of the wedding dress and natural surrounds of the barn. Cute ranunculus buttonholes were worn by the chaps, who all had individual suits, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
During our fisrt design consultation, I delved straight into Katharine and Andy’s wedding proposal, where we went on to design a focal flower display out of a wicker picnic hamper, to remind them how the special moment took place. Using a vintage bike filled with blooms personalised the couples love of the outdoors and cycling.
Brown handmade hessian tables runners (provided by Hannah Berry Flowers) added depth to the amazing long trestle tables and were softened with a mix of decorated jam jars of natural #flowers, #vintage bottles of single stems, potted herbs and recycled baked bean tin cans planted with Violas.
The very talented, London based photographer Tracey Hosey captured this beautiful rustic wedding at Bury Court Barn in Surrey.
